my input on the project is about 10%, rich (ricardodeano) did all the hard work (i.e the proper 99% -ooops, me and my maths - lol) ;) also, as stated before, data can take you so far, the rest is judgement and in that judgment i'd definitely recommend that even runners that trade down -50% should never be counted as traditional DOBs. aim to get out at somewhere between 25 and 30% - sure you'll miss a good few ticks occasionally but also, these things have a habit of looking like an easy 50-60% er and then on the day, only manage half of that...

well, (and i'm sure i'm speaking for rich too), a little snippet of info on occasion goes a long way. and more importantly, shows that we shouldn't always be chasing winners per se IR. that said, i can attest that seemingly sure fire B2L candidates can often mystify by going nowhere on the day. so really, it's caveat emptor. but at least having some historical performance data to back up choices takes a good 50% of the guesswork out of the equation.
