The sun was formed and has been happily chucking energy and light at the earth.
Therefore, why do racecourses hold up races or take out fences delaying the start of a race. I mean, the sun has been there long before the race course and fences hasn't it? It's not new or in a different position from last year at the same meeting at the same time of the day?

Ah - in the beginning man created god.
After that, man saw all was dark and created light bulbs.
Then horses came along created by Darwin.
Maybe horses were first.
Start again.
In the beginning horses created man. Then man created god. Man created light bulbs and raced horses under them.
In the meantime the huge ball of energy and light we know as the sun has been burning itself with gay abandon.
Horses and man have known this all the time.
No one told god about this however. And since man gave god unlimited power and omnipresence, he has gone around messing everything up.
So I blame the horses for fences being in the wrong place. They will try anything just to keep on eating hay.
Perhaps it was the mice? I heard a rumour they created the Earth to find the answer to life, the universe and everything.
