Call me a sore loser. At my age I don't think I am: these days I'm less bothered by the result, I just like a good contest. I love golf but last night, I turned the Ryder Cup off for the first time ever. After a while I began to find it nauseating. Constants calls of 'get in the water and cheeseburger' plus the din send me to bed. Perhaps an IQ test when applying for a ticket would be a good idea.
How anyone can play golf under those circumstances, I don't know. Hats off to all the players on both sides. I just hope Rory doesn't bust a main artery or slay an American spectator with his putter. It looked like he would last night!
Anyone Else Stopped Watching the Ryder Cup?
I get where you are coming from. I was watching last night as Rose stepped up to make a putt and some guy hurled abuse at him. It was so cringeworthy even the American players looked really embarrassed.

These Golfers are earning more money a year then the majority of any sportsman or business man in the world. Although the hecklers may have said stuff in bad taste. To be fair, who gives a s***. Welcome to the real world golfers. People are being murdered, stabbed, shot, abused, starving to death and drowning whilst you swing a club around for a living.
There are sick mothers and children who are in hospital trying to survive from diseases and illness and are being blown up whilst lying on a hospital bed.
Your playing golf with hundreds of security guards ready to jump in the way to save you from someone who is sad. Why are they sad because they follow you around watching you swing a club, thats right. Its sad. Why dont McIlroy Grows a pair! You have one of the most privileged lives in the world, go out there and do something useful with your privileged life and make a god damn difference. Welcome to the real world!
