Hello there

I've been struggling attempting to understand how I can create a simple automation tool to do the following

1. Lay the Draw ( I can do this)
2. Close the selection on the draw and shift all the profit onto the other two leaving zero on the draw

Is this possible please?

Thanks

Its is possible but will require a few rules and its wont be possible to the exact amount. To do and it would be set up depending on your possible green up amounts from you original lay the draw

For example assume the stakes being used means your green ups will be between £0 & £5

On your 'greening up' rule add a signal to the market (call it greened or something like that)

Then add another lay rule also applied to Betfair row 3 (the draw) on the paramters tab use 'Stake by liability' £1
Conditions
'Signal Set Condition'
Is the Signal named 'greened' (or whatever you called it above)
Set with a value

'Green all profit condition'
is 'greater' than £1

Green all profit condition
is 'less' than £1.99

Then duplicate that rule and change the green all conditions

'Green all profit condition'
is 'greater' than £2

Green all profit condition
is 'less' than £2.99

And keep repeating this untill you have the rages of profit you will need

Whats now going to happen is when your 'lay the draw' is greened up that will set a signal to the market which will trigger one of the new lay rules to lay the draw with the liability of the profit on the draw hence transfering all profits to the home/away wins

Any problems just post back

Thank you for your help. To be honest I'm not too sure why this works and no doubt it will take a little time to get my head round it. In the meantime I've attached a baf file and wonder if you could let me know if I've done it appropriately. Usually I use £10 bet on LTD

You had this more or less right, only two things incorrect were the arm time for the new green up rule was set to before K.O.
Also you where setting the 'Greening' signal on the market but on the condtions of the new 'Place a lay Bet' rules where looking for a signal set on 'selection'
So i have changed both of these for you.

I then just duplicated these so you have a green up for each profit range upto £5 and one for £5 (if you want to add more ranges greater than £5 just remove this and continue duplicating from the £4.99 one)

The only thing i have added extra which i never said in original reply was another signal condition on the selection as a extra safe guard so once one has been triggered no other 'Place a lay bet' rules can trigger.

And also a uspsupened time condtion (this may or may not be of benefit but should would as a extra safeguard)

Run it in practice mode and see if it works as you expect but it should move all but the last few pence off the draw about 2 mins after a goal.

Thank you very much indeed for all your help. I will do as you suggest and will let you know how I get on

It might be something worth sharing if you think it is of value.

Yes it might be worth generalizing and adding to the shared files library, although its been downloaded 11 times already so seems quiet popular as it is
