Hi everyone. I'm considering trading the Melbourne cup tonight/tomorrow morning. Is every race at Flemington worth trading or just specific ones? Obviously the group 1 at 4am is worth trading (900k matched already :o ) but are the others all good quality races?

All the best,

Tom

Most of the Flemington races should be OK. Tuesdays are an odd day during the carnival as only Flemington really sticks out today and the feature races is surrounded by other stuff. But some of the other days have higher quality surrounding the key races.

Randwick and Eagle Farm will probably be worth looking at in closer detail. Morphetville is the Wolverhampton of Australia in terms of how it trades. I'll happily ignore the rest.

What window do you typically trade? Is it pretty much the same as the UK races? I'm well practiced in the art of the power nap haha.
