Just to open a discussion really as I've not seen it mentioned in any of the forum posts.

Does anyone use BA's Odds Extractor and what use do you get from it?

I use it occasionally and find it helps to analyse my “eureka” moments which usually turn out to be not so “eureka – ish” as I thought!

I’m currently using it to look at odds on favourite movement, just to see what happens in the last 60 seconds or so before the off.

I’ve noticed though that the “Select Market” section is no longer populated with the markets as BAP is. I have to find the market in Betfair and copy/paste the market id from the rules tab.

Anyone know any quicker ways?

didn't realise odds extractor was now working....last time I enquired August 2008, Bet Angel support said...

"The new license would mean having to pay pretty much unlimited amounts of money to Betfair so a return of Odds Extractor is not on the cards."

When my last computer was swiped I lost Odds Extractor and had no way of installing it on my new computer.
I wrote to BetAngel to see how I could get a copy but heard nothing :( .
I guess I would still have the licence because it was a one off fee so if anyone could help me get odds extractor back on my laptop I would be very grateful.

BTW - One of the best exercises I used it for was to find the best lowest price where the horse didnt go on to win.

Unfortunately Betfair stopped us from selling it and asked us to kill it off, so we were no longer able to support it or its use. This was some time ago.

If you still have a version that works it would be surprising as we have not been allowed to update or promote it for some time. Unless Betfair allow free of charge archiving of historical data it will not make a return. The historical data cost structure means you would have to pay thousands to access the same level of data that used to be free.

I’ve just used it to snap data from the 16:05 Doncaster, it all seems to be working fine. A couple of screenshots below to verify…

I’ve not used it very often but seen no charges or use restriction. I intend to continue using it, unless advised of charges or some other reason to stop. Is this likely to cause a problem?
