Hi

When is it the best time to use the Make Market on Bet angel and get bets matched both back and lay before the events starts?
Is it 10,7,5,3 or 1 minutes before the start of events.

Which selection is the best to use Make Market on?
Is it the one that has the higher volume on any that is above a certain volume.

I would appreciate your help.

Its just a tool to use. I doubt anyone is going to give away clues on how/when it should be used in any market.

You would only want to use it preferably on a stable market.

Personally, I go for the favourite and around 1-2 minutes from the 'off'. I find that the liquidity/volume is best then and you are more likely to get both the back and lay bets taken. But please, DON'T quote me! :D

I'm not sure it can even be quantified (although I suspect PW already knows). I'm sure it's something that could be analysed if you collected enough data. Or perhaps you could set up a bot in practice mode, run it for a month or two for each timeframe/volume etc ...and let us know what the answer is :)

Spend time assessing the markets and when you figure out what type of stable markets fit, with correct odds and times this will enable you to have a better chance at a profit.

What worry me with using a market maker if your not sure what to do it could leave you to just sit there and hope.
You have got to be on your game.

Wait untill the money is turning over quick enough so you have a reasonable chance of getting both orders matched quickly

I kind of like to use it when there are big gaps in play, because with the ladder you can not see where the price is.

For example tonight I used it on the Darts on every match, with the ladder there is no indicator of the current prices...I also use on Tennis and greyhounds, and tonight also in Basketball

With regards to horses, I only use when there is a start of a flat line in the graph, but it does not generate enough for me, if I don't get matched in a few seconds then I don't use the Make Market.

People slag it off here but it is a useful feature when used in the right manner.
