Probably because so many people would have gone for 'American History'....Joe Punter loves a name with resonance.

Enjoyed Cheltenham today.. I used to be able to see the course from my house till about a year ago when we moved to Lincolnshire. Hated the town (snotty people), loved the race course. ...especially for dog walking when there wasn't any racing...it needed a LOT of sniffing :)

One that might be of note for IR lads today, Red Hot Chilly in the 12.40 Chelt.

Noticed it was a runner by chance last night in work, name rings a bell because of the band, and my fondness for growing chillis!

Name otherwise rings a bell because it was about to win a race a good few weeks ago, changed leg crossing the sand strip some courses have, and jockey got bounced off and dragged over the finish line to give Jonjo his 2000th winner quite unexpectedly! (1.50 Uttox 13th Oct ATR)

Had a look and he's traded below his BFSP more often than not and seems to like to get to the front of the pack recently in his good runs on both flat and in a pair of NH runs to date. Could be worth a few ticks to someone.

The trainer Dai is a very good friend of mine. I wish him the bay of luck with Red Hot Chilly he's never won a grade 2 and been training for a very long time. He rode is first winner in 1957 as a jockey in 1957!!! Only recently just stopped working there to go trading full time.

If you have a small bankroll it is better to back anyway. Just try not to make opportunitys.

I'd love to know what stakes Euler is putting through 13:15 at Cheltenham

It seemed to be a no-brainer at that 1.15 price pre off. I layed for my usual small stakes and put an IP 1.52 back. Any stumble and he was always going to shoot out, despite his immaculate record...
