No reason to be honest, it could have been any type of race. I just typed handicap because it popped into my headvhdgkl wrote:a bit later![]()

I can see this has had the desired effect, it has made people question the logic and try to decipher it. This was my aim, I wanted people to realise how important it is to trade in volume peak flow and let the market do its thing. If they are piling into this favourite then as one poster said "back back back" and fill your boots until they stop backing it.
That is why I always say trade the now, what you see, and NOT what might happen. If the trend breaks down because it stops being backed or perhaps the race is ready to start then get out. Until something changes the market, go with what the market is doing.
Some good points about the efficiency where if this horse is moving in the rest are probably moving out. You almost don't have to look at other runners, the favourite will soon let you know when it is not being backed.

thank you for fantastic thread jolly green.
i have difficult to evaluate peak volume
you wrote: "I measure the peak flow using £/s. If you open up Settings it's on the first part you see, ensure there is a tick in MA (moving average)"
which is now the correct setting on betangel for it?
thank you.
ps: i trying to study correlation odds, between horses..not only in 2 clear fav but in market whit many "fav"(@3,5 @6-@7-@7-@9-@15 etc etc)...when stop a correlation, when chanhe horses correlated,etc....you can't say your secret,i know..do you say me if it is a wasted time analysed only correlation whitout volume and other things??(for swing trading)
have any suggest in this (my phase) of anaylis?
sorry for bad english
