Is it possible to automate this rule
You put a back bet on with a stop loss , once stop loss is reached then a lay bet is placed
I have been trying to automate this with little luck , most luck I have is to sit and do it my self lol
Reverse the bet ?

Yeah it is kind of that , what I have been doing t the minute to trial a similar Idea is
Lay a horse between 15 and 20 for £2 and then if it goes the wrong way then place a back bet at 2.0 for between £15-£20 is was going ok first 10 where wins then a loss of 13 ( 15-2) so it worked ok but there where some issues at betfair in the afternoon and liability of lay was not added on to balance and scheme went pair shaped.
But I was thinking it could be more automated than me selecting a horse, then put it in nomination then add a rule to back it if odds dropped to 2

If you have your lay part already automated then you would just need to add a back rule (click on 'green plus' icon in the rules editor) with the following two conditions
'Number of Matched Bets Condition'
On 'Selection'
Is 'Equal' to 1 (or 2 if your closing your original lay with a stop first then placing this back bet)
'Fixed odds Condition'
Last Traded Price
of 'Selection'
is 'Less' Than 2.00
'Number of Matched Bets Condition'
On 'Selection'
Is 'Equal' to 1 (or 2 if your closing your original lay with a stop first then placing this back bet)
'Fixed odds Condition'
Last Traded Price
of 'Selection'
is 'Less' Than 2.00

Is there any way to keep the results on the guardian screen from the races ? As they seem to clear off quite quickly after the race

I have been watching my system today ....
Not quite what I thought I used and offset with stop and greening and put a fairly big offset and stop in.
So off set I put at 1000 so it puts a lay at 1.01 and stop at 100 .... so to me if a favourite gets to 70-100 say it will not win most times. And then lay the bet as I think it will lose.
But as I watch it when it hits the stop it changes the lay to the stop figure and then adds another lay like Instructed ....
