in play time not correct
It's to do with buffering that is usually caused by insufficient bandwidth at either the broadcaster or at the listener's end. It's a fact of life that I deal with this every day although in recent times buffering has become less. With horse racing, and tuning into Racing UK, the buffering is almost zero. But go to William Hill or watch the races on Channel 4, then buffering can be anything between 7 - 15 seconds.
Now when it comes to football it's worse. I don't know why. But recently I was listening to a football match on BBC Radio 5 Live and I also had Flash
Live Scores open (http://www.flashscores.co.uk/). Suddenly a goal was scored (Flash Scores publicise it with audio: GOAL!!). About three minutes later, the 5 Live commentary pronounced the goal.
That's my take on it. But check your bandwidth to begin with. Maybe try and upgrade.
