LOLOL

That's the worst day imaginable for them

I wonder if it's even a bot that has been badly scripted

I remember seeing this, think the horse came 3rd, how do you make a mistake like that? I can only think it's a bot gone wrong.

I traded the whole day yesterday and didnt even notice it! :P Was this pre race or in play?
(I was just thinking that it may be worthwhile routinely placing a low/high bet on all runners and then canceling towards the latter stages..)

It was pre race.

Several people do as you suggest but it would all be automated I would assume. I think Peter does it if I remember correctly.

The first thing I do in the morning is fire up Guardian and flick through the markets placing a few orders. Doesn't happen often but it's a bonus when it does, I do toil whether I am benefiting from somebody else's mistake, but then people benefit from mine! Also, placing early orders in a market at any price, gives you a few more options nearer your normal trading time. Recommended.

I wouldn't loose to much sleep over it ;) We are in the business of making money out of other people's misfortune and poor judgement.
