Inevitable goal has arrived but you can get 1.5 on over 1.5 still.

I enjoyed that, haven't been able to say that much so far this tournament.

It comes to something when the germans are playing the most entertaining football. The number of goals scored at this stage is considerably lower than in previous tournaments. I know it's early days and will probably change but it is interesting how the germans are the only ones who have been using these new balls during their domestic season

I went head to head with another writer in Gambling magazine about the number of goals. I forecast a lower tally than previous world cups and he forecast a higher tally. I think the globalisation of football has increased its competitive nature and therefore should result in lower goals.

Next two rounds should see a higher number of goals. More incentive to score in the next rounds.

Have we watched the same game? I hope Brazil will keep playing like that so cristiano ronaldo and drogba will be laughing when they will qualify for the 8th. I am also praying for Spain to play like the brazilian so ENGLAND, GERMANY, ARGENTINA, HOLLAND and ITALY will have a shot to win the tournament.

It's a British thing, we like an underdog.

Gutted i missed out on the 25s for 0-0 half time, i was telling people all day it would prob be alot tighter then suggested. especially since how the tourney has gone so far.

Interesting brazil never even beat the -1 handicap either...

i got on 0-0 at 19.5s after 5mins, it went to 16.5s after another 5mins then bounced back up to 19s and got held there despite not a lot happening & NK looking very tight.

14mins after my first bet i greened up at 13.5s, leaving a small stake on 0-0, & laying it off in dribbles.

the man city / man u league cup semis was similar - priced at 21s & got to HT 0-0. Obv was never going to end 0-0 but both started off tight & nervy, so price dropped quick.

re an earlier post - quite a few of the other other countries have been using the new ball since its official release in Feb, but i believe only germany have used it in the league.

England decided to start playing with it 3 weeks ago - well done there, seeing as a few of them are saying they are still getting used to it.
