I placed a lay BET for spain no to win the WC 9 months ago. I am still convinced Spain can`t win it. THE BOOKMAKERS seems to forget that SPAIN best achievement is a 4th place in 1950. I have just greened up a massive, large and fat ammount of money.
Thank you Spain for being so overrated every WC.

Took a small position on 1-0 Spain and thankfully greened up before the Swiss scored.
All in all a good day as I also greened up on 0-0 on the Honduras-Chile game before the Chileans scored.
Only work off of a small bank, but have increased it by nearly 10% today.

Being the sceptic that I am, I totally agree with you. Either post them up before hand or post your screenshots.Online Trader wrote:Sorry guys but after timing is such a pet hate of mine.. get your tips up BEFORE KO if you want to be taken seriouslyam too embarassed to say how much money I made tx to spain but, I can tell you that the WC can end today for me as I made the same ammount of money I have planned to make for the rest of the WC and winbledom. I just completely struggle with this logic, they have been overrated to win the Euros every time also, yet who won the Euros last time? You are soley basing your decisions on results which occurred when the game in Spain was so different to how it is today.enzabella2009 wrote: Thank you Spain for being so overrated every WC.
The team is made up of mainly players from Barca, RM, Sevilla & Valencia, yet also La Liga has the worlds best players....majority of Spains players have won major club titles - CL, UEFA, La Liga etc. They are winners.
Agree, 10 years ago your logic kind of worked as they just couldnt gel, but with the midfield of Iniesta, Busquets, & Xavi - who play week in week out dazzling in the centre for barca the quality of the national team has improved 10 fold.
And they showed no signs of that changing in qualis, or in the build up. Their biggest mistake today was tactical, playing 4-5-1 was wrong.
I have not backed them this year, but wouldnt write them off. I think Spain will start to dominate international football for a long while to come, they have the right mix of aggression, technique & spirit, plus the strongest league in the world, and finally have won a major title.
imo the Euros are harder to win than the World cup.
so based on similar analysis i assume your sticking all your profits from the Spain game on Uruguay to beat SA as they have won the World Cup twice, albeit millions of years ago.enzabella2009 wrote:THE BOOKMAKERS seems to forget that SPAIN best achievement is a 4th place in 1950.

I won't put my money on it, but I would say this is a back opportunity. Can't see Spain failing to qualify and when it does odds will be around 4's, and everyone will forget this 'accident', I think...

I TIPPED ON PREVIOUS POSTS TO LAY SPAIN AND ENGLAND 1 MONTH prior the start of the WC. I TIPPED IN MARCH 2010 for INTER MILAN TO WIN the CL, I TIPPED FULHAM AND LIVERPOOL for a LAY BET for the europe league when the odds were good to do so. I TIPPED CHELSEA TO WIN THE DOUBLE when they were second in the league behind MAN UTD, I TIPPED 8 multiples for £50 for a stuggering £900 return and many more but still can`t be taking seriuosly. its all recorded in the football forum posts. I understand your doubts because you have not checked my previous posts So, for the record
SPAIN WON`T WIN THE WORLD CUP 99.99% sure. ENGLAND WON`T WIN THE WORLD CUP 99.99% sure. ALL the spare money are on argentina to win it ( to green up in the semifinal if they made it). ITALY, GERMANY and HOLLAND (underestimated teams) and BRAZIL (just the right odds at the moment) all to green up in the quarter final. good luck again.
I just checked the market for tournament winner and Spain have drifted well over the $6 mark.
I think to my horse racing experience here for an anlogy. You're watching a horse race, it's just started, a very good horse tripped at the start and lost a few lengths and its price drifts out substantially. What do you bet on?
Think about it guys. The answer is not hard.
