Which means theyve had time to adjust the start times to make a nice gap between Sedgefield and Wolves except Sedge are now having a 4th inspection at noon!!
yes Im fairly close too and the way the frost was this morning I wouldnt be surprised if it was off although the sun has some warmth and its the first real frost we 've had so may not be too deep
This horse last won off a rating of 65 however it has ran well with a rating of 71. This horses ratings have been dropping off the board.
What is particualrly interesting is the horse has been running in 0-75s and 0-65 today it is running in a 0-60. Which is a considerably lower grade.
Looking at Binky Blues previous wins and strong runs this horse loves to win from a prominent position. Infact it is not suited by anything other the being prominent.
This horse has hd a run of 6/7 races with the hood on however it has been running either middivision or towards the rear. Yet on its very last start the hood was taken off and the horse ran promintely.
There are many ways to try and work out what is going on with this horse but as always, I try to think in away a trainer would but additionaly a waya trainer would plan a winner to profit from it.
There is a 7lb claimer ridding the horse today in which who rode the horse two starts ago in an apprentice race. This tells me this horse has mostly like been fit for about three runs now as an apprentice race is good place to get your claimer experience for a ride. What is really interesting is this jockey is booked again today.
I have reviewed its previous video form very very closey and for a fair while now the horse has travelled very strongly throughout the race but just had nothing to give in the last furlong. I can see that on a few runs the Jockey hasnt been trying however the last race was abit more intersting as it did look as the horse was ridden promintely but never really tried to finish the race. Looking at the races it is really clear this horse needs to run at a shorter distance and its been evident for a very long time.
Today this horse is running at 6f. 1f shorter.
My views was they tried out a claimer ready for a winner to get a feel for the horse at the same track.
Now the horse was getting fitter and fitter the trainer obviusly knew he dont want the hood but needed to make sure. The horse was more settle on its last start and just travelled better.
Unless this horse has completely lost its way and just is no good anymore then today is a clear sign something is going on and in a possitive way.
Looking at the races the only run in its previous races I can truly see where it looks its trying to win a race was when the claimer was riding two starts ago.
Same Jockey today- No hood, running at a shorter distance. Massively lower in the weights in a weak race.
My only concern is the jockeys real ability and the fact that its a handicap.
In a maiden race only about 20% of the runners are actually trying to win wheras in a handicap its around 40%. Where its such low grade race its diffuclt to asses everybodys form strongly.
The last time the horse won (quite some time ago) The race before the horse won the hood was taken off and it was massively gambled from 15/8 (2.88) into 5/4 2.25. In which prior to this the horse was held up for a number of runs. Yet all of a sudden starts to run promintely again.
I am fairly certain the trainer is trying to win today and to be honest if it doesnt do the business today depending on its odds next time it might be worth another go.
The pace looks weak so I cant see the winner coming from anyhere other then near the front and I suspect the horse to run prominetlly today.
I think it will finish in the first three.
However the value on this runner looks massive and if you place a bet on a selction like this once a week you would be doing alright!

Finally Sedgefield gets the go ahead. Though i think there should be a cut off point to the post time of the 1st race where a desision has to be made by
