Hi everyone,
First of all, apologies if this has been answered in another post - i've had a hunt around but can't find exactly what I'm looking for.
So here's my question...
I'd like to automatically dutch certain races (not all) for 75% of the book, covering at least a third of the runners, for a stake of £10 a race.
I use Guardian automation for other systems, but can't figure out if this dutching strategy is possible in there. I've also seen you can auto-bet in the Dutching tab in the main app, but not sure how you control what races it dutches. Finally, the Excel option looks like it could do exactly what I want, but this would be a big learning curve for me, so would like to make sure there isn't an easier alternative before I plough into that side of things.
Any advice would be very much appreciated.
Regards,
Al.
Dutching automation help
There is a ready made dutching bot in the shared files section which shows how it can be made using guardians advanced automation

The auto-bet needs to be set up priot to each race so possibly not what your looking to do

I imagine a lot of us noobs will be wasting our time trying a simple dutching system to begin with. With my own, I am trying to program a saving condition where a back bet is placed should an unbacked outsider look like winning. However, I don't want it to trigger if my inital entry conditions have resulted in no dutching position having been placed pre-off.
I am identifying this by using two "Number of matched Bets" conditions. Firstly I check No. of matched bets on the selection(the outsider) = 0 and also Number of matched bets on the market > 1. The latter is supposed to identify if any bets have been placed at all and if not, do not trigger the saving bet.
Have I got this right?

If i understand you correctly you would have your dutching bet set up accordingly then a seperate 'place back bet' rule with the following conditionFrogmella wrote: ↑Tue Feb 14, 2017 1:40 pmI am identifying this by using two "Number of matched Bets" conditions. number of matched bets cond
On market
is equal to 0
That will ensure it will only trigger if no early bets have been matched
