Good afternoon

I have dabbled with pre race trading for a while but the last 10mins etc up until post I have had no luck with.

Does anyone here trade before the live shows and make it worthwhile? I mean say 20-15 mins out ?

I know it can be unpredictable but its nothing like the morning prices jump around and Ive had a go for the last couple of weeks and im finding its not as bad as some people make out. Ive heard a few people say they do it but im wondering if its going to blow up in my face and i dont want to waste my time if its going to be a no go

Thanks in advance

Never really bothered with it as there's so little liquidity that price is all over the shop (to my eyes anyway not knowing a good horse from a bad one)

Live shows ? There was a time long long ago when the exchange followed the bookies, but now it's more the other way round or at the very least, the exchange is a law unto itself.

..but....i've only been doing this full time for 5 months so I'm no expert.

It's generally not about getting in but getting out that causes the problems. Getting in is generally easy on low volume, but to exit a trade you may need to chase the price away from your exit point and that may cause you problems if the trade goes against you.
