what a move aswell, 2.4 to 1.9 in about 2 minutes! caught it at 2.36 but layed off at evens as it was lingering there for a while 
Surely this means that traders are doing most of their trade against each other rather than other participants? May be football world cup has diverted attention of punters/bookies/hedgers away from horse racing.
I'm not sure if Peter has any stats from 2006 but it looks as if the choices available to punters have increased in recent years hence drop in the amount matched on horse racing.
