My Silly Profit Margin (Needs Improving)

I have a tennis automation. Profit margin awful but seems to work every time. Needs improving especially when your backing & laying £100 just to win £1.00 Please don't laugh i'm trying so hard.

The tennis player needs to be winning by 1 set and 2 games this is why the odds are so small hence profit margin.

If someone can improve this attached file below, that would be a benefit to everyone if it works. Optimistic but who knows!

To improve it...run it on a couple of hundered games and then have a look at your results. Then you will see what games were sucessful and more importantly, what it was about those games that made them profitable.

Good advice from ShaunWhite. I would not be too hard on yourself think of it in percentage terms, ie your making £1 every time you back and lay £100. If you could replicate that on the financial markets, hedge funds would be lining up to pay your millions for it.

I also have a problem that i cannot solve. My new updated automation which is now generating more than £1 for every £100 by the way is not working for tennis player B, but tennis player A is okay.

So if tennis player A goes 2 games ahead it works, but if tennis player B goes 2 games ahead it doesn't work

Could it be the Applies To Selection: Row 1 (betfair order) selection only applying to player 1? You could either copy/double the rule and apply it to Row 2 (betfair order) or else stay with the single rule and change the Applies To Selection to: Position 1 (sorted in order of favouritism)

Thanks for the reply, I've tried betfair row 1 & 2 in the same rule and in a copied/different rule but still the same problem, I can't use favouritism because a tennis player could be 2 games up and may still not be favourite.

Working now!!! In the rules box under general tab, the window wasn't big enough so i couldn't see "Applies to selection - Betfair row 1" so it had that on both rules Player A and Player B. Silly me after all them hours trying to find out why.

Cheers, Just one last thing now then i have pretty much completed this tennis automation.

I have got it set to place a back & lay bet with greening. But i want it to then stop so that i'm in profit but then go again on the same match/selection after i've made profit.

If you have a set target for each match, then include the Condition that Green All Profit is less than (your target profit)
Once your profitable bets have surpassed the Green All level, then that condition will stop any further bets being fired as not all conditions are met for the bet(s) to be triggered.

I would like it to confirm the profit after the 1st matched bet and then reset and carry on betting without affecting the first profit. At the moment i have got a bet trigger of 1 on general tab and a place bet trigger of less than 6 on condition tab. This is to place the bet with greening and then carrying on 5 more times which i want but then its not confirming the 1st matched bet profit its just adding the stake on if you see what i mean.

Could be a case that you need to use signals and reset your trigger count when your greening condition has been achieved so it starts the cycle again. Out of my depth with signals I'm afraid, Dallas is probably the top man to answer that query for you.
