Why cant we regiser our betfair accounts as either a trader account or betting account. Allowed to have one of each. When betfair crashes it hedges all positions on the traders account.

I'd rather run my own DR strategy than have BF make decisions for me. Betdaq have had a sudden spike in traffic.

If the matching engine is down how would that work? My understanding with the take SP strategy is that betfair cover the losses/liability.

It's lagging awefully. BETDAQ are saying they don't see any probs at their end.

Heads up the the less techy people...When it appears again, give it 20mins before leaping in to do anything other than hedge. Standard system recovery proceedure.
