You'd be insane to trade today after a major outage like that (imho). I'm not that desperate for a few quid.... manyana.
I'm waiting for sustained stability before I create any liabilty, I don't even think the nature of the problem has been published.

I'm expecting for one, just letting things settle, not rushing in and being cautious. what response have BF given to those who got stuck caught in positions they could not trade out of. my lay bet on happy diva was paid out. does this mean that if i had been backing happy diva and intended to hedge at off i would have lost all those back bets?
there was a moment after crash when API just stopped again. Luckily it was just for a few seconds. But from then on I lowered my stakes. Gutami I was having an amazing day until the 5.25 and 5.45 race came along.

I got caught laying Murray just before the Dubai final, very annoying as he went 3-1 down in the first set and I couldnt green up. By the time betfair was backing running was a set up and 3-0 in the 2nd and trading at 1.03. Spoke to betfair on live chat and they gave me a £20 free sportsbook bet (stake not included in any winnings). Excellent set of results gutuami if this is a typical Saturdays results for you then I can certainly see why you wouldn't want to pass up trading on a Saturday. Do you find that Saturdays are far more profitable than the other days of the week? The reason I ask is that there was a post on this site recently about someone who said they made money every day trading except Saturdays.
Saturday was, is and will be the best day for trading. The simple arguments for that are : more events, more people involved, more liquidity, better horses, bigger prize money. It is a win win situation for everybody. There are no losers in this game. The only fact that people have the possibility to trade or Learn to trade is a privilege in itself. And the fact that some of them land on other side of probability it is because they haven't aquired the right skill yet. Anyway that's from my view.
