Saving screen settings.

Hi all.

This relatively simple process is driving me nuts.

I set up a basic setting for both screen layout and BA settings and no problem, they both come up when I log in and choose them from the drop down menu in startup (as opposed to the default settings).

Now I want to change the screen layout and add things or move floating windows around. I then save settings next to the screen settings tab but when I reopen BA my original layout pops up. I have tried to overwrite the name of my layout (using the same settings name) but no joy.

Please help. The cat is getting shouted at every time but I don't think it's his fault. (he is crafty though so it may be)

Sounds like you maybe trying to save a layouts as settings and/or vice versa.
When you have made your changes you can save 'AS' and give them a new name from the 'View' and 'Settings' options in the top left corner

Ah that makes sense. I'm saving it in settings rather than view.

I'll give it a go once I've calmed down and will report back.

Dave, you;re not the only one. I used to spend 1/2 an hour setting up my screens 'til I discovered that. There's also the load screen option - you can change from pre-off to in-play screens etc. instantly. It's pure bloody MAGIC. Worth patenting or something
