From personal experience, When I have a market I struggle with I try to make a slow entry by chopping my stakes into 3 or 4. Only adding each small chunk the more it does what I think. If its volatile if your going to lose at least it will be a tiny amount this way and I find it works well at Lingfield.
got you, many thanks, appreciate thatSeaHorseRacing wrote: ↑Wed Mar 08, 2017 4:17 pmFrom personal experience, When I have a market I struggle with I try to make a slow entry by chopping my stakes into 3 or 4. "There's opportunities"? That sounds like FOMO to me.

Err .. makes absolute sense . To absolutely no one ... bit similar to below .. to paraphrase .. been having much better success with greyhounds than horseracing ... not making much ... but don't trade them to make money !!ShaunWhite wrote: ↑Wed Mar 08, 2017 4:30 pmerrr You don't agree, because you trade it.SeaHorseRacing wrote: ↑Wed Mar 08, 2017 4:25 pmI agree with you but I think theres still opportunitys. " TBH I have been having much better success with the Greyhounds than horse racing, simply because I can really get into a rhythm with so many markets one after the other. Not making much. Some nights a good evening is the equivalence of one average loss on the horse racing.
Your right about liquidity but I don't trade them to make money, I use it to train myself.
Been trading the greyhounds every night for about 9 months now and in real mode the last 4 months with the occasional evening off and it doesnt really bother me, I enjoy it and its keeping me focused, I like trying out new ideas as its the same as horse racing except the markets are faster and more volatile. "
"I'm a terrible punter!" he insists."

Oh hum I won't be going on that course then.
Maybe PW should join up with a university -
an MBA in Angelology?
