Hi all,

I've previously concentrated on football trading, but have been trying pre-off trading for about a month now.

I'm currently trading just using £10 stakes, what would you consider a good return on an afternoon's trading with £10, or what would you expect to return (roughly-speaking)?

I'm asking because I've read in other threads that very successful traders have an annual return of sometimes as little as 0.13% on all their matched bets. I'm having difficulty reconciling this with my experience so far (in terms of what is possible) and I wonder if trading with low stakes is really nothing like trading with proper/larger sized stakes, to the extent I'd have to alter my strategies very considerably.

Thanks!

Trading with smaller stakes is far easier than using larger ones because you can get in and more importantly out of positions unnoticed and far more easier, but the best thing you can do while you’re learning is to just forget about returns and instead just focus on learning how to read the markets, once you begin to do this part right your bank will steadily grow in the background.
