That's interesting to know, aperson. I've looked at the website a few times though never tried to actually trade on it. Was thinking of giving it a go this year, though don't think I'll bother now. Sounds pretty poor.
It's a little like when BF is having problems but not fully down. The prices on show don't actually exist. You put a back bet in at 3.5 and it shows that someone is prepared to lay you at that price but that's a price from a few minutes ago, then the screen may update to the "real" market but then refresh back to the old market! They seem to have released a new BETA site as well but that seems to have the same problems. Maybe it's my browser or something but I don't think so. If anyone else uses them would be interesting to hear if they have the same problems. I feel I may be missing something, perhaps the settings on my account are wrong or something but feel like it should be intuitive enough that I shouldn't have to work it out.

I don't believe what Smarkets portray at times. I agree with Dallas, i think they are cross matching to give the impression of extreme liquidity

Didn't notice it so high last year. They were a fraction of the volume. Be nice if they did become viable with 2% flat rate.

Foxtail Hill has drifted all day long in the 5.30. Not even favourite anymore

A very dissapointing day on the trading. Didnt think I would make the same as I did on Sunday on stakes that are 5x. Blew the first two. Just didnt expect the markets to behave the way they did.

The markets were a massive eye opener for me today. Putting money either side of the book and waiting didn't work out well for me. I was pretty hopeless to be honest. Had some decent results on the other cards. I may try betdaq tomorrow. See how i get on there. Still good fun nonetheless.

Last race was awful, slow fill rate due to the delay and I got caught by some spikes.
The Altior race was so annoying basically scratching for half an hour
Going for larger stakes tomorrow.

Betdaq wasn't exactly a shambles today

Did anyone happen to notice if significant money went through those Acca markets on the exchange today?

Wow are you taking mainly swings on betdaq and scalping betfair or doing the same things on both exchanges just using both to get more money through?

The latter, you can come unstuck doing that though. But it's generally worth the effort.

Unlucky SHR it's awful knowing you should've had a good day if it weren't for a mistake but live and learn :)

When do the betdaq 20% Cheltenham bonus come into out accounts, just curious :)
