Just spotted the above.

Murdanova gets sent off the 7/4 fav.

All the other horses have penny-ante sums against their names.

Someone wants to lay Murdanova for over £4k and ..... shock horror ..... it comes last.

Quelle surprise.

Now that's just taking the wee wee.

Murdanova has raced in 4 races in the last 5 months - only ever 7f Handicaps. The odds at the start for the three races before yesterday were:
Newcastle 9th Dec - 15/1 (came last of 11)
Kemp 15th Feb - 20/1 (Won)
Wolv 25th Feb - 8/1 (Won)

I don't read/understand horse form, but those results seem pretty good. Wouldn't you need to be really confident that she was going to lose, to lay that kind of money at odds under 4/1 ? Or am I missing the point?

Raised 9lbs since the first of those two wins, and upped in class from C6 to C5, having never win in C5 ... but certainly should have ran a lot better than that .. but horses aren't machines . Usual stewards " considered the running" into its abject performance . Sure if there were any irregular betting patterns they will be looked into !!

The Stewards considered the running of MURDANOVA (IRE), ridden by Charlie Bennett and trained by Daniel Loughnane, which started favourite and finished unplaced. They noted that the rider reported that the gelding hung right throughout, and that the trainer’s representative could offer no further explanation for MURDANOVA (IRE)’s performance. The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding during routine testing failed to reveal any abnormalities.

Yes, they are - especially in that race.

I was drawn the title of your thread

Taking the wee wee is far too polite for this forum! - it's predominately middle aged men with gambling issues, and a simmering resentment that whistles like a kettle

Actually, I'm none of the above.

Should I get my coat?

Hope not because my feet are killing me. :D

I can't find the 'like' button.

I can't find the 'stun' button either.

My shoes are killing me.

I put my bra on backwards this morning - and it fits better.

How bl00dy useless am I?
