Alright folks

My first post so take it easy on me!!

I was looking for some advice if possible. I've been trading in my spare time for around 3 years and have got to the stage that going full time make's sense not just financially but from a family & lifestyle perspective as well. Having just bought a bigger house, one of my main concerns is how do you get a mortgage when your full time income is coming from gambling which I believe HMRC don't recognise as a source of income?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Forget about getting a mortgage, unless you put your house up and against other properties you already own

This job absolutely shags your credit rating

Le Tiss is right, I've been warned by my bank manager to keep anything to do with BET off my statement, he doesn't mind but head office have told him to keep an eye on me. Peter has done a video on banks attitude - worth watching. Use a third-party (Paypal etc.) for any transactions.

Welcome to the Leper Colony.

(And please do not use my coffee cup)

I will be updating that thread soon ;)

Get the money into premium bonds and become friends with a broker will be the TLDR, as they know which banks want what in terms of statements and proof of deposit.

Hi Iain,

I am new to Bet Angel, and it sounds like you have lots of experience which could be invaluable to a newbie like me.

Would you be willing to teach me and let me follow your successful strategies?
