TFT, SHR. It looks like you put a lot effort into that post.

Unfortunately, I only managed to get to the end of the second paragraph before I went to the next topic, because animated avatars (particularly with goggly eyes) are too distracting when one hasn't got a lot of time to spend browsing the forum.

I preferred your earlier avatar: irritating, but acceptable.

Y, 2nd favourite at 3's withdrawn, potential carnage ahead.

Racing looks poor today, but there will be plenty of movement about for sure.

Where there was a non runner on the second does that mean Betfair have matched (rule 4) the already matched bets on the favourite at 1.01 or has the crowd done this...

People have placed bets that have been pro-rated down to 1.01, would have been placed at least 1/3rd higher I'd image.

In fact I just checked priced before r4 was 1.50

Good day for scalpers
When you say good day for scalpers do you mean the prices were generally stable and the fill rate was good? As a smaller trader I actually like to scalp markets with more noise and a bit of volatility as its easier to get more small stakes through.

Would love to know more about how you scalp the markets Dallas as I know you are into automation. Do you run a scalping bot pre race that is profitable? I can't automate scalping because I always give away value on the exit of losing trades and the only reason I have success manually scalping is by lots of fast scratches which I can't automate. Maybe there is a way in excel of scratching if the money at the price goes below a certain point?

Also if you don't mind me asking do you run any bots on Betdaq?

Prices were fairly stable so would of been good if you scalp that way ie in a tightish range, if you prefere to scalp the noise or directional scalp then there wont of been many chances for that as so many of the prices remained flat

Im predominantly a swing trader and rarely do any scalping, though have started doing more of it in recent months but my preference will always be swing trading. My pre race is mostly manual and in-running mostly via automation.
If you were going to automate something pre race a scalping bot would be far easier than any sort of swing/trend bot
There is several scalping bots in the shared files section including a scratch bot that will do something similar to what you have asked for which you might want to check out

I only use Betdaq for pre race manual trading on Festivals
