Incredible. This is why horses must be ridden out to the line no matter what. You see this happening everyday but only on horses where they think there 3rd or 4th and they do this to get caught for a place, not quite as bad though.
What sort of trainer will want to use him now?

I have learned something today. Never, no matter what Lay at huge odds (1000) or back at low odds (1.01) All it could take is one day and its over.

Poor lad he's only 18 he'll probably have nightmares for the rest of his life! Some strange rides in these amateur races, one needs to be brave to have a bet in them :lol:
