Hi

Relertively new to this and wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction.

What I want to do by automation is when my trades become greater than a certain positive figure then Green Up the whole card in terms of Trade Market and also when the card becomes negative figure then Red Up.

I'm trading manually but would like to have Bet Angel do the above for me to take the emotion, greed and fear out of my trading if that makes sense?

Any suggestions?

There is a ready made bot you can use and enter your own profit/loss amounts

My advice would be very careful,
Ensure you have your liabilities settings, set up correctly, Ensure you have your liabilities settings, set up correctly (repeated on purpose)
When BA auto greens, it uses the AVAILABLE odds...Im hoping that future versions of BA will allow you to alter how a green/red up is initiated (see suggestions thread) , but its not there at the time of post
You dont say if your trading is inplay (in fast moving markets ie horse racing) or pre event.
If its the former, then I no longer use BA to green up in play as my analysis is that over time,I will just let it play out and see what the monthly results are.

Here's a real example. Some time ago, I vowed not to use the green button in BA on these fast moving markets.
I actaully saw the race in the image live and had to have maximum self control not to hit the green button. Im more proud of the fact that I didnt press the green button than the actual result (Foxy Won by the way)

If you look at what the winnings were in comparison with what I would have won by greening at 1.14 its a massive difference. Now compare that with what would have been had the £5 dissapeared at 1.14 (highly likely!!) and the green calculation took place at 2.02, it would have halved my winnings.
Have a long think about what you want to achieve and then the best way to maximise profits whilst minimising the risks
Regards
Peter

Hi

Just to confirm does this Bot take the raw hedge figure value as its trigger or the P/L of indervidual runners as in the general configuration settings it's states that it's applying to the runner 1 in order of Betfair order.

What if I've been trading runner number 2 or even runner numbers 3,5 and 7?

Its currently looking at the total profit/loss green up (hedge) figure, if you want it to look at individual selections then the rule type can be changed from
Green all selections
to
Close trade on selection (with or without greening)
