Hello I hope you can answer me a question I have about the stall draw conditon in Guardian. I have an automated system done on stall draw, open a lay over a certain number stall, but today there were many NRs at Pontefract but Guardian still used stall 5 as a Lay when infact it had become stall 2.

I was not at my computer and had assumed a few weeks back that the stall draw reading would be decremented with any NRs drawn inside. It resulted in an opposite trade than anticipated.

How can this be avoided in future?
With the automation I do not intend to be at my computer for long periods and may not have access to it on a given day if it is running at home and Im not there.

An expensive mistake that I hope you can help me resolve. Thanks

There is a runner count condition in the automation that you could use to say 'if less then x runners' then don't trade. That may help.

I have looked at it and thought about it a lot but I think the only way is individual tailoring as NRs arrive which is a bit tiresome, if Bet Angel is listening please help with a function in future to have a Min stall number to equal 1 etc

I figured it out for anyone interested, use a signal count that way you do not need to be at the keyboard, so to lay stall 7 or higher set up a count to make sure that those in stalls 1-6 run, if count is say >6 then lay if not then dont.

QED (I hope) will trial and report
