"80% chance of winning" how do you work that out any advice appreciated for a newbie. I understand that if a horse is odds on to win then it has a 50% chanceof winning according to the BA videos.

80% chance of winning if x y z situation please fill in the gap in knowledge thanks :D
The 80% chance quoted here of winning has nothing to do with the horses odds. It is to do with the win rate of the individual trader. Successful and experienced traders such as PW, have a great deal of confidence in their win rate (I think his is around 85%). There is no secret to this, its down to hard work and many long hours spent in front of a trading screen.

It would be terrific if one of the experienced guys could give us all a simple answer to your question on these forums, but trading isn't like that.

Early season novice or maiden races get quite interesting around this time of the year. Craven meeting could provide some opportunities.

Typical init.
I know it's too late now but you can have Guardian play a warning sound if you have unmatched bets near post time. I've got a 'CropperStopper' bot that stops me doing that or other silly things like having a bet. It's in another room so it's a big effort to go switch it off.
