HI all,
New here but just wanted to check i had the right idea.
I have a bot (in practice mode) that backs the leader at a point in the race. I want to avoid price spikes so was going to borrow some of the "close if in loss for more than 10 seconds" bot from Dallas and edit it to my needs.
Am i right in thinking that if i fix the order once a bet has been matched then i can refer to "sorted in order of favouritism" position 1 and it should always be referring to the original leader that my bet was placed on?
If so i can then play with relative odds and setup the timer etc.
Many thanks for help in advance, looking forward to playing with Betangel.
Fixing order of selections in play when leader changes
Yes thats right all runners will be remembered in the order their currently in at the moment your fix order rule triggers regardless of how the odds move for the remainder of the market or untill you trigger another fix order rule
Just wondering how i avoid the spikes?
I've added the fix order of selections once a bet is matched on the market, and then if the leader's odds drift and it goes 2nd or worse i'll start the timer, but how do i clear the signal for the timer when / if it becomes the leader again?
I've put a rule to say if odds of selection (in order of favouritism no 1)are greater than any selection start the timer. I was going to put a rule to say if odds are less than 2nd selection , but it might be the 3rd or 4th and i can't put Any selection as that, i guess, will just be all the runners unless it is last!
Also, if the original leader continued to drift how would i bet on the leader then?
Thanks

If you have added a 'fix order rule' then it wont know the leader (fav) is now in 2nd as the order has been fixed.shaggyjh wrote: ↑Fri Apr 14, 2017 9:35 pmJust wondering how i avoid the spikes?

If you want to do something like this their is other ways you can lock in on just the one horse throughout the race without actually fixing the order
That way you can use a similar signal set up as the close trade if in loss for 10secs to determin if the once fav has not been fav for a period of time
