I have read somewhere that you can get banned from Betfair through using BetAngel Pro in practice mode. I have practised a little, but the last thing I want is to get banned before I have even got going. I have money deposited in my Betfair account but have done very little live betting. Can anyone please clarify the position with regard to practice mode? How long can I safely practise my trading before going live?

Time limits when in Practice Mode
Yes Betfair can and do restrict the data feeds for users accounts if they use practice mode excessively without placing any live bets, especially if they have no funds in their Betfair account either.
The is no specific minimum activity required and Betfair seem to deal with this on a user by user basis. My advice would be to try and place a few live bets each week, their is plenty of ways of doing this with little to no risk, some markets worth looking at are the pre-match & half time football markets.
