Betfair legal in Mexico?

Is it OK to use Betfair in Mexico. Are there any restrictions on use?

Hi Innertube,

I have been using Betfair for the last 7 years in Mexico without problems. I don't however know the official stance.

I do have problems using any kind of Betfair applications for Ipad or Blackberry. After installing they say that the application is restricted in my country which seems strange because I can access the website on my laptop without problems.

One word of warning however.... if you plan to trade in Mexico be very careful due to the number of power cuts. I now live in an apartment block with its own generator so I don't suffer like I used to.

I know nothing about Mexico but I'm pretty sure the reason you can't use your IPAD there is because of the fellas in California being afraid of legal action if they provide the tools (IPAD)for gambling in a territory where there is uncertainty regarding gambling.

Yes, I checked late last year before travelling there. Don't think anything has changed.
