Hi guys,
I'm a forum noob that's been using BA for a short period.
I've just dipped into setting up a BOT using Guardian in BA Pro. Really as a result of Peter's latest video. It interested me.
Quick question.
I've created a trial bot very similar to the one Peter did in the YT video. Only addition was a rule on applying the BOT on greater than 5 runners in a race.
All been going ok today, however for some reason none of the Navan races had the green up rule applied to them, where as every other race has been fine.
Bit confused.
Newbie Help Needed
Sounds strange to have just miss 1 meeting, have you checked the automation tab at the bottom of guardian as shown in the image of this thread
http://www.betangel.com/forum/viewtopic ... 47&t=12557
it will show if the rules have in fact triggered but just not been matched or if they have not triggered at all.
If its not triggering depending how many markets you have loaded in guardian you could try increasing the window in which it triggers ie something like
arm at 00:00:10 before event start time
till 00:00:00 before event start time

thanks for the reply.
It was applying the first part of the rule which was placing the back bet, but never did the green up
23/04/2017 15:45:30: [G_Auto] : £ 1.00 Back bet placed on Queen Annes Lace at 4.8. Fully matched at 4.9. Ref: 90956836391
23/04/2017 15:56:55: Guardian has detected that the market is in-play
23/04/2017 15:56:55: Guardian has detected that the market is suspended
23/04/2017 15:57:56: Guardian has detected that the market is now unsuspended
23/04/2017 15:58:53: Guardian has detected that the market is suspended
That's from the log file.
When I check the automation tab though it suggests it did green up if I'm reading it right

Their was no image attached,
If you have streaming enabled change the refresh rate in guardian to 20ms
http://www.betangel.com/forum/viewtopic ... 47&t=13949
and then do what i said in the last post about the trigger times and see if that solves

Thanks for the reply. Hopefully the image shows above.
I've made those changes mentioned so I'll see how it runs on tomorrows races now.
Very odd though

Testing today so far has been hit and miss again.
A series of races that worked fine, and then a number where the green up rule never triggered.
Below image is how my rule has been programmed, I adjusted the arm time as can be seen in the image.

Your green up is only active for 2 seconds.....are you sure guardian refreshes the event within that time window?
You def need to make sure the green has time to fire 2 or 3 times

Try increasing it to at least 10 secs as per my original reply, races very rarely go off exactly on time so you could also set it to 5 secs before post time till 5 secs after as long as you have it armed for at least a 10secs window.christof21 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 24, 2017 4:18 pmTesting today so far has been hit and miss again.

Also make sure you have guardian refreshing markets as fast as possible (20ms if you have streaming enabled or 200ms if your not using streaming)

Thanks for the replies again.
Figured out what part of the issue was. Although I changed the refresh rate as per convo yesterday, for some reason it had defaulted back to 10 seconds, instead of 20ms, so I've changed that and it seems to have worked.
I will definitely be changed the arm time to seconds though as another safety net

After you have changed the refresh time in guardian and closed guardian down if you click on 'save settings' on the main Bet Angel screen it will save these settings for you, otherwise you'll need to remember to change them each time you log in

I think I missed out the bit after closing guardian down

Cheers Dallas, but sometimes I find (when I set profit and loss conditions) the green up does not fire.
Example, back horse in running for 3.0 for 10 ticks with trailing stop set. I also have a green up rule for -£3 loss but it does not fire if the trade goes against me, noob error??
Make sure your using less than -£3 and not greater than -£3Niko wrote: ↑Mon Apr 24, 2017 8:21 pmCheers Dallas, but sometimes I find (when I set profit and loss conditions) the green up does not fire.
