When scalping a big race like the 17:30 do you have positions open on multiple runners at once?
I think I was trying to keep on top of too many runners at one time and one caught me out and lost a few ticks.
What do you guys do in these kind of races?

I have a good piece of inside information for you guys tomorrow. Really strong piece of information! Soon as I am on I will release the info. Think the price will tumble I will keep you posted as soon as I can get a price and on with a bookie.

Isn't this the sort of behaviour you were getting annoyed with the other day?

That was a horse being stopped.

This is a horse whos has been waiting to step up in trip for quite some time. Horse was off coat for along period last year, couldn't get the suitable ground and they couldnt get him right. No rule breaking there and completely understandable.

I wonder if enough people read these forums to cause the price to come in anyway at least in early trading on betfair. I seem to remember that when Mugsgame used to put up his back to lays on youtube they often used to come in at least for a while because of all his followers getting on them.

4.35 Catterick- Explain

Im on at 10s with a bookie and a bunch prices in the 9s on Betfair. Looking to get a 100% trade on betfair so hopeful it gets down to the 4-4.5 mark tomorrow.

Hoping my £100 each way hasn't moved the bookie price.

Good Luck if your smart enough to follow my very good information. Just checked the weather forecast and hopeful the rain doesn't materials to anything. Be mindful of a going change. It wants fast ground.

It's currently 8.2/9.6 on the exchange and ranges from 7 to 8.5 on odds checker. I hope it is a good earner for you and thanks for posting the information I shall keep an eye on it but wont be putting any money on it. I have a sort of old fashioned attitude to betting tips, if I haven't put the time and effort in then I don't think I deserve to profit from other peoples work.

Not how most people think I know but I think in the long term your better off relying on your own resources than hoping to get the odd good tip from people with contacts in the industry.

18:05 Punchestown (IRE) looks like a good race to trade, it's one to watch. If there's strong support for Fayonagh and Someday then Gordon Elliots other runner Poli Roi should drift out nicely. It's obvious, but just thought I'd post it anyway. :) Fayonagh is usually prominent which should also help.

Has there been a withdrawal? I'm sure I backed Explain at 9.2 last night (just a small one) and it's showing me matched at 7.45 now.

3 NR's totalling about 20% I think, you can kind of see why people bet with bookies though with their BOG

Yep and sometimes rule 4s can really help you if your backing each way with an odds on favourite.

Had a 33/1 2nd at Kempton once. The rule 4 gave me quarter the odds and the withdrawal was a horse that could have never won it.

Had a rant the other day and this is why the bookies will never disappear. If your a professional profitable better using the exchange just wouldnt work. FAVs are always very close in odds. Commission make the pay out less.. Then theirs the premium charge, no best odds guaranteed either... and the higher prices you cannot get good money matched.
