Triggering a bet in automation

I am looking at the Back the Steamer automation file, altered slightly, and want to watch the markets from 8 minutes out and this is on every race on the day.

Currently I have set Bet Angel to automatically switch to a new market 490 seconds from the off time, which is 8 minutes and 10 seconds.

Is this setting neccessary, or as long as Bet Angel is open, will all races be monitored from 8 minutes out and any bets placed?

Also in automation, does the Bet Angel screen have to be showing on my monitor screen or is it enough that it is open and I can use the internet for other stuff as normal?
