Hi Folks
Newbie here. Ive watched a lot of videos and wondered if someone could explain how you can define what the bottom of the trading range is. Am I right in thinking that has to do with the part of ladder where figures go from green positive to red negative?
If someone could also explain what the overround means on an exchange as well. My understanding on traditional bookie is that the overround countained the "juice" for the bookie ie - anything over 100% would be their profit. What is it on exchange and why is it significant?
Cheers

Betting Range
A trading range is the range of prices money has been matched at, a few details on it in this thread

The over round has the same It meaning on the exchange as it does with a bookie - the higher the book% the worse the value your getting when backing, if you can back all runners below 100% you will be guaranteed to make a profit. In trading terms you can use this as part of your entry/exit decision.
Go into the dutching or bookmaking tabs and set the odds to manual you can play around with the odds to see how price moves affect the book percentage.
