Hello
I would like to know if the different race types and periods (Mdns,Handc, exc..) require their own individual types of trades or can they all fall under the same umbrella?
Thank you

Hi Ryan

I'm not entirely sure what you mean but will try to answer you the best I can.

Adopting one strategy for all races is unlikely to be successful, largely due to the fact that different types of races trade in different ways.

The best way to learn about this is to spend some time watching the markets.

If you look at the card today, notice how a the prices move on a Maiden market versus a handicap market.

Best of luck

Thanks lambic!
Have watched the different markets and your right there is different reading to be had for each one. Mdn's can be a little volatile and less lucidity . Iv been using fav horses with a large percentage of the market share on them, then lay about thirty minutes before the off and back them after what seems to be a slight bust of lay money comes in on it, before the price drops usually 7-10 minutes out and I let it run or get out for a small profit unless I feel it could go against me. Am aware of crossover prices but have chose to ignore them unless there is a build up of cash around them. Hope you don't mind asking, would you say im on the right track?
Thanks again
