I have been working on pace analysis alot more lately trying to find an in running edge to make some more cash trading.

With this in mind.

There are certain races where the pace meanders from fast to slow back to fast and the opposite.

I have been looking at data and almost 30% of races are run like this. You get a race where the pace looks slow, yet after a few furlongs into the race the run much faster then a truly run race... all in all to finish the race running fairly slow again.

I have forecast what I believe today to be messy races at Beverly and found runners that can only be suited by this style.
