I have noticed the amount of increase in topics in relation to race times. Additionally I have been getting a fair few private messages in relation to standard times and going predictions etc.

I am feeling generious tonight after Miss Igna Sock done the business for me so I am in a good mood.

Below is a chart I created some time ago.

Intially when I created this I used guess work to fill the data to come up with some form of theory to predict the pace of a race. With a lot of testing I managed to fill the data in the most accurate way based on previous results using the horses previous form to match it to the pace of the result.

For many of you who use patternform for pace analysis you may understand my table a bit better.

What is important first and something I wont share with you is you need to accurately predict where and how the race is going to run.. For example just because one runner is showing hes always held up there are many reasons to suggest that he will indeed front run today. Also having a front runner who has been front running in slowly run races will definitely not be a front runner in a race with a lot of pace.

I hope someone finds this useful. This is a gold mine of mine.

Regarding times of races throw a lot of data away from a certain date
Tracks for years advertised wrong distances
