My new avatar is a blob of Pantone 448c (non nerds can google it). Co-incidentally it's the same colour as Theresa May's heart.
No need to heckle, it's just a joke.
Most of the country want more May and Hammond, but perhaps Boris should consider a move to Amazon Prime.

I wonder if Labour now realise what a mistake it was in getting rid of David Milliband.

I'm not so sure that would have helped, afterall the Toires don't have a pro-leave leader either.

Yep she's a pro at switching https://www.ft.com/content/e021c208-3ed ... f963e998b2. A leader changing opinion once or twice is great, but I'd hope they'd get a few right first time as well.
How many years has she been involved with the Home Office? - 7 years
What's the national state of alert? - The hightest level, Critical, worst since 2007.
I've no problem with people being Tory but is she really the best you've got to offer? Could be worse, we could be looking at Leadsom or Boris. You Tories deserve better as well. The Labour party is where it is because the PLP wanted a decent leader, it's shame the Tories are prepared to settle for a 3rd rate act, some Con MP's aren't too bad actually, but this woman needs some balls.

I wouldn't be so sure.cybernet69 wrote: ↑Mon May 29, 2017 9:44 pmI think I am going to have a dabble and LAY a Conservative Majority @ 1.19s.![]()
I think about The Wallace & Gromit Effect.
After Ed Miliband was elected as Labour leader in 2010, the amount of times my friends (admittedly a small sample) referred to him as 'Wallace', and the fact that i couldn't disagree with them just confirmed my initial assessment that he wasn't Prime Ministerial material.
The same goes for Jeremy Corbyn. Not in the Wallace & Gromit sense but that he just doesn't look or sound like a Prime Minister. Forget about the policies.
People who don't, won't or can't think about politics tend to vote with their gut, if they vote at all. Jeremy Corbyn is one of the least likely politicians to appeal to anyone's gut, IMV.

Not what I'd recommend, I think it's peaked, but it's your money. I'm going to look at things tomorrow and probably get most of mine out.cybernet69 wrote: ↑Mon May 29, 2017 9:44 pmI think I am going to have a dabble and LAY a Conservative Majority @ 1.19s.![]()
1.16 before the TV show was always worth having because it's generally accepted that Corbyn presents better than May, and that's been born out in a very nice drift out to just touching 1.19.
It's been interesting to see how the UKIP decline in the polls has been reflected in an almost equal rise in Labour.
The assumption was that UKIP attracted those from the right, but it was always the case that the issues addressed by UKIP were those that resonated with large numbers of the left leaning working classes too. I accept that there's also a fair few 'working class tories' out there, but that's really a southern thing and with UKIP standing in several high profile southern by-elections, they were heard more.
UKIPers weren't just angry with the EU but also angry about the lack of infrastructure funding and planning to support the increasing population. Immigrants took their jobs, and the tories repaid them by cutting in and out of work benefits and freezing public sector wages. These working classes also have a statistical tendancy to require more assistance from the NHS, use state schools, need the police for low level crime, be disabled and need social care and housing in old age. None of these areas have thrived in the last 7 years. I'm not sure where the idea came from that they'd all flock to the tories.
I'm going to stick my neck out and say Con Majority of 45 seats.....anyone else want to stick a quid in the jar and nearest wins?

I maybe wrong but I cant see most of the young and Elderly voting for the Conservatives.
The Tory manifesto was a nightmare.
I been hearing rumours that if there is a Conservative majority then she is going to remove the powers from the house of lords and remove SNP MPs from voting in Westminster. That's why she wants a large number of MPs.
She already said that she needs a big majority so she can take the difficult and unpopular decisions going forward. What exactly did she mean by that comment, bring back the poll tax ??
