I want to identify any runner who's current Back Price is larger than it's SP.
I've setup a rule that looks at All Runners, and then was going to us the Historic Relative Fixed Odds condition, where it says "The Back Price now (of the selection) is greater than the SP plus X ticks..."
but then it wants you to pick a runner. If I use "Any Selection" this implies it will compare the selected horse against all other runners, rather than comparing the selected runner against its own SP.
Is this just a question of it being worded strangely in the interface, or is this not possible to achieve?
Thanks
Historic Relative Fixed Odds in Play - compare to own SP?
I find this a frustration as well - I've tried to get around this using signals but still hit brick walls when trying to generically apply it. Would love to see this implemented in a more straightfwd way in BA. Of course, like yourself, i may have missed a subtle nuance that allows me to use ANY in this manner.
Similar problem, was looking to set a signal on each horse that remembers the SP. It then places a back bet once the price has come in a certain number of ticks but only on one horse and then kills all other signals? Can't easily see how to do this?? Frustrating when at work so have to guess and wait until the end of the day to see if the rule worked!!

it may be worth adding either a new suggestion request, or adding to this one to see if this can be implemented: http://www.betangel.com/forum/viewtopic ... 20&t=14168
It can be done. Just need to set a rule up for each individual runner, fix the order at the start, and then setup say 20 rules all doing the same thing, to cover up to 20 runners (e.g. select Betfair Runner Order 1, then can compare to itself).
Would be nice to do it neatly though using the Any Selection condition.

yes, this is definitely the awkward work around. as you say, nice to be able to achieve this with the ANY selection option.Stubbo wrote: ↑Mon Jun 05, 2017 1:20 pmIt can be done.
