How to Use Betfair Historical Data

Hi All,
I have just downloaded about 6 months of Betfair Historical Data (basic). I extracted the .tar file and found 119,820 .bz2 files. I extracted 1 of these files and got an unspecified file which I opened in Excel (as a comma separated file). I cannot understand the layout of this file. Does anyone here have experience of this data? On closer examination this file seems to relate to the Grand National ante-post market where there are a total of 181 horses listed. Is there a quick way to sort this data so that names, prices and time are displayed in organised rows and columns? As it is I could probably sort this data and plot graphs in a decade or two.

The Historical data is in streaming format and requires some programming experience to use, my library will parse it:

But currently don't have a listener which parses to csv (in the works)
