Dallas, I was wondering if a new rule could b added to the above file
That would place a lay bet @ 30 on the second fav, if the BSP fav is winning at odds of 1.15
To ensure more bet matches
Or
ADD another file to lay the 2nd @ 40 once traded at 25s, if so can two file b placed on the same market?
Many thanks.
Lay BSP FAV in running @50
Yes you can add additional rules within in the same rule file, but can only use 1 rule file per market - this link below explains this in more detail
viewtopic.php?f=47&t=11857
Because you have fixed the market order at the off it will focus at the BSP 2nd fav rather then the 2nd fav In-Running if thats what you want you can do it using either of the ways you have asked for, start by adding a new rule type (green plus icon) to place a lay bet and choose 2nd fav and set the times and parameters you require - for what your doing use place at "fixed odds" rather than "best price".
Then if doing the first option you asked about on the condtions add
"Fixed odds Condition"
"By position (sorted in order of favourtism) 1
"Last traded price"
is "Less" than 1.15
"Fixed odds Condition"
"By position (sorted in order of favourtism) 2
"Last traded price"
is "Greater" than X (enter what odds you want the 2nd fav to be over before triggering the bet)
"Number of place bet triggers"
On "market"
is "Equal" to 0
(that will ensure this 2nd fav lay can only trigger if the fav has not already been layed - also add this same condition to your exsisting lay fav rule to stop that triggering if this 2nd fav lay triggers first)
To do the other way you asked about set the place lay and parameters as above and use place at "fixed odds" 40
with the following condition
"Fixed odds Condition"
"By position (sorted in order of favourtism) 2
"Last traded price"
is "Greater" than 25
"Number of place bet triggers"
On "market"
is "Equal" to 0

Excellent I'll have trial of theses rules if my current file can't get matched enough times...
What would b the best option in your opinion? From the two suggested?
Thanks for your time and knowledge

At the moment Im backing n laying BSP FAV N 2nd fav

Many thanks.

Davey, might be useful here to literally do a step by step breakdown of your requirement, then the current use-case can be examined in full as per recent additions...daveysam25 wrote:Hi Dallas after moderate success I'm looking to sure up my current file as shown above

The lay bet is based on betfair starting price fav with the condition lay @ 34 when last traded price was 27
But would like to add a condition to only trigger that lay bet if IN RUNNING FAV last traded at 1.19
Wasn't sure if it I could do it as I am laying the BSP FAV...

Yes you can still do it - on your rule for the 2nd fav just add a similar cond to what your already using on the favdaveysam25 wrote:The lay bet is based on betfair starting price fav with the condition lay @ 34 when last traded price was 27

"Fixed odds Condition"
Nominated "By position (sorted in order of favourtism) 1
"Last traded price"
is "Less" than 1.20
That ll do it
