thanks, im still not entirely sure of my thought process but it is improving. Discipline in not making trades for the sake of it is one partspreadbetting wrote: ↑Wed May 31, 2017 1:43 pmVery consistent trading, mattdidius, if you can whittle down exactly why you enter and exit the market you should be able to bot it, or at least attempt to bot it.
Who says trading dogs is a waste of time?

still ticking over nicely, 80-100 quid a day without me doing anything except throw them all into guardian and let it do the rest.
Very nice Memphis, that sounds like something we would all like to have. I have never looked at the dogs markets, is it possible for you to increase you stake (I think you use £5 stakes) and so increase your returns or does your system only work with small stakes. BTW I'm not trying to suggest your returns are small, a programme generating you £100 a day is terrific.MemphisFlash wrote: ↑Mon Jun 12, 2017 7:10 amstill ticking over nicely, 80-100 quid a day without me doing anything except throw them all into guardian and let it do the rest.
Menphis said in an earlier post that the same bot had been used on the horses. Not sure how successfully though but if it's working like it is on the dogs then wow!!Bluesky wrote: ↑Mon Jun 12, 2017 7:37 amVery nice Memphis, that sounds like something we would all like to have. I am 100% absorbed in the dogs at the moment as I love how many races there are and the liquidity seems pretty good now

Yeah I've been trading them with the smallest of stakes for the past few days. Just can't seem to get the automation down though. Finding it hard to actually define what I do haha, or why I do it.dannycutts wrote: ↑Mon Jun 12, 2017 11:36 pmI am 100% absorbed in the dogs at the moment as I love how many races there are and the liquidity seems pretty good now![]()

Botting them helps you determine exactly what you do that's making you money. If you do it in simple steps one at a time you should be able to drill it down.welshboy06 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 12, 2017 11:58 pmYeah I've been trading them with the smallest of stakes for the past few days. This is exactly what I'm trying. I've been using 1 instance though. I think I'll open a few and run slight variations.spreadbetting wrote: ↑Tue Jun 13, 2017 12:11 amBotting them helps you determine exactly what you do that's making you money. 1. Take a screenshot of the odds at 5 mins, 4 mins, 3 mins, 2 mins, 1 mins, 30 seconds.welshboy06 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 13, 2017 12:19 amThis is exactly what I'm trying. I've been using 1 instance though. 2. Take note of how the book percentages changed over these timeframes.
3. Then goto the racingpost and see what it said about the race before and after.
From the three points above you should be able to workout which selections odds shortened and why. Then you can start to formulate a strategy and finally automate it.
Cheers for the heads upcybernet69 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 13, 2017 8:41 am1.
