iCloud down - two factor authentication grolly??

I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing issues with NON apple devices or email clients that access iCloud. Everything was fine here until about 10:00am this morning and thereafter, I'm receiving popups saying that I need to supply my passwords in a variety of apps/platforms.

I looked up the status on the web and it would seem that apple have instigated two-factor authentication (for apple devices). However, it would appear that this is potentially causing issues with windows/android logins. I was tracking the feed here: http://downdetector.com/status/icloud/n ... -at-icloud
