A remarkable day for backing the favourite and trading out pre-off yesterday.

York - 13:50 - Back to open @ 6.20 to 5.60 for 5 ticks & £10.71
Bath - 13:55 - Lay to open @ 3.90 to 4.00 for 2 ticks & £2.50
You have both back and lays to close? When was the first bet place and any criteria for if lay or back? Unless i am missing something..
Euler has explained a few times on this thread that these are just the opening prices he see's at the moment he opens the market and the prices available at the off, these are not his trades and are intended for informational purposes only

So effectively, the price will end up either higher or lower than the price when you first open BA?

cant believe I missed that.

If you collected the information yourself you will notice you often get days with a bias of strong backing or laying in the market, once one of these becomes obvious to you then you can use it in remaining races

Exactly. From those results look at York. Obviously like with all trading you can't just do things blindly and you'll be rich. Just because the last 5 favourites have steamed doesn't mean the next will, but every bit of information helps.

Back £55.67 - 6
Lay £4.26 - 1

Well,
By restraining myself from going in play too often (I did it twice!) I managed to make a few quid (only using very small stakes to try to cure my 'in-play' addiction!).

But if I have to pick one thing today that really got up my nose, it has to be Betfair's 'live' video! LOL How CAN 12-20 secs adrift even be called 'live?' I hope Betfair's gnomes made a killing with such an advantage.........

George.
