I suspect come the end of the season it may well turn out the Barney Roy was the best horse in the race..
That's not said with any sour grapes... as long as Dream Castle didn't win I was on a good day...

I finally ventured outside of Australia for the first 7 races of the card in the UK yesterday. I made AUD$26 in the 75 mins, but I am not sure if it was skill or good fortune. It is so incredibly different to Australian racing, yet it was an exciting challenge. Australia horses usually seem to run in a straight line, yet last night in the UK horses were often trade over a price range constantly.

When you started sports trading what were your expectations? Did you speak to people who had been doing it for some time (I mean people you know from the real world not internet forums). If you did speak to traders they should have told you there is no secret, this is extremely hard work, most fail, and the few that succeed have really earned that success.
Unfortunately though, even hard work is not enough, this forum has posts from people that have put thousands of hours in trying to learn to trade, but still eventually fail. I think you need a very strong hard work ethic, but also learn to control your emotions and not do stupid things in the heat of battle.
